CENTRAL COAST NATIONAL CEMETERY TASK FORCE
- “At a time in their lives when their days and nights should have been filled with innocent adventure, love, and the lessons of the workaday world, they were fighting in the most primitive conditions possible…” -Tom Brokaw in The Greatest Generation
The Central Coast National Cemetery Task Force is working to honor veterans through the establishment of a National Cemetery on the Central Coast of California. These veterans sacrificed for our nation, united not only by a common purpose but also by common values: duty, honor, economy, courage, service, and love of family and country.
The Central Coast National Cemetery Task Force was formed in 2003 under the auspices of the Lompoc Chamber of Commerce, Military Affairs Committee. The CCNC Task Force consists of veterans, community leaders, elected representatives and interested community members whose goal is to provide a National Cemetery on California’s Central Coast.
